Outside the school

Welcome to our school. We are a small village school that welcomes everyone to our community. Located in the heart of Ashleworth, we offer a good quality education in a safe and secure environment to any child and their family who would like to join us. 

Outdoor Learning Area

This is our new Outdoor Learning Area primarily for the Foundation Stage but also for all children in the school, where the children can explore outside knowing it is safe, engaging and stimulating.

Playground

We have a great playground with space for different games. There is an adventure activity frame at one end and on the other end we play football, hockey, basketball, circus skills, skipping and other activities. In the morning, Mrs Huggins does 'Wake and Shake', a dance routine to get everyone wide awake and ready for the day ahead.

Parent Waiting Shelter

Recently built, this area is great for sheltering parents from the wind and rain in the winter, but during lesson times, it also makes a great place to go outside to read or work in small groups.

Reflection Garden

Class One have designed the reflection garden to give a purposeful and quiet area to the school where we can hold assemblies, read, think and reflection on what we have learnt help us to understanding the world around us. 

The Green

Though not part of the school, the Village Green is important to us as it provides a great place for playtimes, physical education lessons, sports days and other events throughout the year.
